There are people who like taking up the toughest tasks. Often they are also the ones who are able to do them.
Then there are people who don't take up tough tasks themselves but encourage others who do so. (Or at least leave them alone).
Unfortunately, there are also people who stop you from doing any kind of work. The minute you take up something that is really worth doing, they step forth and ensure you go back to mundane data entry level work.
